Opowieść – naród – śmierć

Prezentowana książka omawia fenomen późnego politycznego pisarstwa Jarosława Marka Rymkiewicza, na które składają się tomy tworzące cykl określany mianem „tetralogii polskiej” ("Wieszanie", "Kinderszenen", "Samuel Zborowski", "Reytan. Upadek Polski"), a także tzw. „wiersze obywatelskie”. Teksty te – wraz z publicznymi wypowiedziami pisarza – pod koniec pierwszej i w drugiej dekadzie XXI wieku konstytuowały zjawisko „społecznego wpływu” Rymkiewicza odnotowywane przez licznych badaczy i komentatorów. Autor publikacji, wykorzystując narzędzia literaturoznawcze, kulturoznawcze, filozoficzne i socjologiczne, odkrywa zawoalowany, skrywany, sens twórczości poety, niejednokrotnie podważając lub czyniąc problematycznym dobrze utrwalony w rymkiewiczologicznej doksie obraz pisarza – „krwawego wieszcza prawicy”. ****** The Story – the Nation – the Death. Regarding the Late Political Writing of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz The presented book discusses the phenomenon of late political writing of Jarosław Marek Rymkiewicz, which consists of volumes forming a series known as ‘Polish tetralogy’ ("Wieszanie" ["Hanging"], "Kinderszenen", "Samuel Zborowski", "Reytan. Upadek Polski" ["Reytan. The Fall of Poland"]) as well as the so-called ‘civil poems’. These texts – including the public statements of the author – at the end of the first and during the second decade of the 21st century created the phenomenon of ‘social impact’ of Rymkiewicz reported by numerous researchers and broadcasters. The author of the publication, using the literary, cultural, philosophical, and sociological tools, discovers the veiled, hidden meaning of the poet’s work, repeatedly challenging and making problematic the well-established in the Rymkiewicz’s doxa image of the writer – ‘the bloody bard of the Right Wing’.
