This issue is devoted entirely to the issue of Polish-Chinese cultural relations (with particular emphasis on the 19th century and the first decades of the 20th century). The subject of reflection undertaken by the scholars is mainly literary studies, especially the reception in China of the works of Polish literary classics in the last two hundred years. The issue consists of articles by scholars representing Polish and Chinese research centres.

Numer jest w całości poświęcony problematyce polsko-chińskich relacji kulturowych (ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem ich przebiegu w wieku XIX i w pierwszych dekadach wieku XX). Przedmiotem refleksji podjętej przez naukowców są przede wszystkim zagadnienia literaturoznawcze, a zwłaszcza kwestia recepcji w Chinach twórczości klasyków literatury polskiej w okresie ostatnich dwustu lat. Na numer składają się artykuły badaczy reprezentujących polskie i chińskie ośrodki naukowe.
